Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder – Single Origin (Uji)
Our Ceremonial Grade Matcha is sourced from a single, family-run farm in Uji, Japan, where the farmer produces just 50kg of matcha per year. Crafted with meticulous care and generations of expertise, this exceptionally rare matcha is traditionally reserved for Japanese tea ceremonies. It offers a vibrant green colour, deep umami, natural sweetness, and an exceptionally smooth finish.
 
This is a truly high-grade matcha, best enjoyed prepared simply with water to appreciate its purity and complexity, ideal for matcha connoisseurs who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and freshness.

Brewing Instructions:
Heat water to 80°C. Add 30 ml of hot water to a bowl, then sift 3 g (1.5 teaspoons) of matcha. Froth with a bamboo whisk until smooth. As this is a very high-quality matcha, we recommend enjoying it traditionally with water to fully appreciate its natural sweetness, umami, and smooth finish. Milk can be added if preferred, but may mask the more delicate flavor notes.
