Our Story

At Kahawa Coffee Co., our story begins on the fertile slopes of Mount Kenya, where our founder from Kenya and his Norwegian friend were inspired by the region’s rich coffee culture. From our base in Sydney, Australia, we bring the finest Kenyan Arabica beans to the world.

Our mission is to deliver exceptional flavour while upholding ethical and sustainable practices. We work directly with local farmers who handpick each bean, ensuring fair compensation and avoiding exploitative middlemen. These strong partnerships are central to our commitment to quality, community, and environmental stewardship.

Our single-origin beans are expertly roasted to showcase the vibrant notes, berries, black cherry, floral, and toffee, that define Kenyan coffee. Every cup offers a premium experience that reflects the landscapes it comes from. As our passion grew, we expanded into artisanal Sri Lankan teas and premium ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha, each selected for bold, vibrant flavor and sourced with the same dedication to sustainability.
